Why not spend the
day exploring the human face ?This workshop is suitable for
corporate, college or senior schools - or maybe just a group of
friends wanting to have a go. With observations directly from
the model and Brenda's understanding of anatomy the group
explore what makes one person so individual. By the end of the
day you should have produced a half sized portrait bust in
terra-cotta clay

In this workshop
Brenda begins with an animated talk about her own work and the
excitement of turning a piece of 'mud' into art. Examples of
Brenda's work will be shown to students including a sculpture
inspired by the harvest breads which were traditional in Kent .
Each student is given some clean air-dry clay to make their own
harvest sculpture. A workshop that covers both local history and
art . National Curriculum relevant.

In this fun,
high-energy workshop Brenda brings the Tudor court to life.
Students are taken back in time to one of the most dangerous
times to be alive in Britain . In this drama/sculpting workshop
students enact scenes from the Tudor period before sculpting
some very famous people. Fun guaranteed !National Curriculum
relevant.

Brenda uses this
simple , direct recycling workshop to open students imaginations
to this miniature world . Using colour , texture and high energy
, each child makes their own 'mini-beast'. These can be used as
decorative kites . Intended for even the smallest fingers . A
confidence building exercise.
